We begin right where we left off in Part 1 of the series and continue our way through Tomorrowland and other magical places in Disney World.  You will get to see the Speedway construction along with previewing the new additions being built for the Magic Kingdom.  All of this before we head over to Epcot for a night of Extra-Magic-Hours and enjoy Soarin’.  So what are you waiting for?

Trees from Tomorrow...

This classic is always packed...kids love cars.

Tea Cups look real nice after receiving some fresh paint...

Construction Kingdom Continues

The Speedway track is being shifted in order to fit "Dueling Dumbos" that will fit snuggly next door...

Little Mermaid Construction Peeking Over the Wall...

Little Mermaid ride construction wall teaser...

Go under the sea in Fall 2012...

Here is a quick Disney Imagineering Promo Video that shows off the construction of the Little Mermaid Attraction Being installed in Disney’s California Adventure.  Both attractions will be nearly identical with the exception of the themed buildings being built to house them.  I prefer MK’s version though I wish it was opening in 2011.

So Long...Farewell...

Soon, construction will dominate this area and a Storybook Circus Land shall rise.

The before and after pictures should be quite interesting when the area reopens.

Goofy's Barnstormer shall be rethemed...

Soon we will be looking at the Great Goofini.

Here is a look at the concept art...

Hey its Minnie's House one last time...

Minnie's Living Room...

Minnie is quite the collector...

She even collects art...

Minnie Mouse Self-Portrait

As you can see Minnie had quite a few friends in her kitchen.

I Love Disney's Steam Locomotives...

The ToonTown Station will close during the transformation but the Train will remain operational.

All Aboard!

Nice Angle of the Main Street Train Station on my way out...

This image will certainly make for a lasting memory.

Like clockwork our tram arrives...

The trams have all been fitted with doors...

They make getting in and out a little more difficult but its a little safer for the little ones and I like the way the doors look.

After some much-needed R&R back at Pop Century we are ready for Epcot Extra Magic Hours!

Let the Memories Begin Epcot style.

Still an incredible sight every time.

If you look at Spaceship Earth's legs you might spot an interesting difference...this could mean a return to its original state.

Le Spaceship Earth

High Powered LED's are cool...at least I think so.

Love walking through every Art of Disney Store...hopefully one day I can afford the stuff in it 🙂

No I am not announcing a new contest yet 😉 but I'm really liking everything Vinylmation...

...there is just a lot of creativity, art and fun behind all of it.

Anybody know what this construction is at Fountain of Nations???

Classic Mickey...

Soarin' at Night

The sign looks awesome at night...and all the water elements are working.

Welcome to the Land...

The Four Seasons...

Soarin' to the left...

...and Living with the Land to the right.

Guess which side I chose 😉

Even during Extra Magic Hours Soarin' had a 30 minute wait...

The queue for Soarin' has some really nice modern design elements that will help make it timeless.

On the other hand Disney has to fix the games that used to project on these walls or replace them with some neat videos because this queue can get rather boring with just those still images.

One of my favorite queue spots in all of Disney World...but the entire ride is showing signs of wear. Hopefully a refurbishment is planned sometime in the near future.

Want to take a ride on Soarin’ yourself? Not that a video will do Soarin’ justice but if you aren’t afraid of spoiling the ride…you can get some sense for it by watching the video below.

Stay tuned for part 3 with more photos, videos and more from this incredible trip!
