There is so much going on at Walt Disney World and it has been truly amazing being able to share it with all of you. One of the smaller but still important projects going on is the construction of the expanded Fantasyland walkway. In our previous photo-updates we’ve shown you the progress on this site, including the removal of the old Fantasyland Skyway Station and even the removal of the adjacent Fantasyland Clock Tower. But today we have something other then demolition! In fact, we have photos of the first signs of vertical construction in what appears to be a concrete wall. For this and more join us after the break.
Sun is setting but that doesn’t mean we can’t grab a few over the construction wall photos!
You’d almost never realize how much space there is to work with here until you see it like this.
Here what you are seeing on the far end of the photo is Liberty Square right in front of the Haunted Mansion Entrance/Exit.
Looks like we have some prep work and vertical construction.
Wonder what this is for?
This on the other hand, looks to be our first vertical construction in the form of a concrete wall to be exact.
What an incredible view from the other side. I wonder how it will look as you cross through this new path into Fantasyland from Liberty Square.
Steel, meet concrete.
