The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is edging closer to its grand moment in Fantasyland but in a smaller but still impactful way to all guests who were lucky enough to be at the park yesterday, the moment has already begun. For the first time, construction walls are now removed from the main drop of the attraction, giving guests their first spectacular view of the attraction’s mine hillside replete with luscious forest trees, waterfalls and of course an incredibly themed mine train vehicle traversing the area. It is always a pleasure to see the faces of excited guests who are seeing a new world of Disney fantasy for the first time. The amount of people taking a considerable portion of their time at the Magic Kingdom to just enjoy the beautiful small roar of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster as it makes the visible portion of its run was simply beautiful. I truly enjoy those moments and they become some of the most indelible ones in my Disney memories. As for the testing mine train vehicles, they were being run with weights simulating the passengers that will be taking the spin soon. Though a date has not been given for that opening other than spring 2014, you can surmise from that and the construction progress that late March will probably be the earliest we shall see previews though in all likelihood it will be some time even after that. For now though we have some of the best photos thus far of New Fantasyland’s anchor attraction and we’ll be posting a video of the vehicle testing shortly so make sure to check back soon.
