It is with great pleasure that Disney welcomes you into Beast’s Castle now for breakfast. Sure breakfast wouldn’t have quite rolled off of Lumière’s tongue quite the way dinner did but we are sure you are going to love the Magic Kingdom’s latest breakfast offering in a park that not too long ago was begging for more options. The experience opened today and much like for lunch a reservation is strongly encouraged so we made ours and now we can’t wait to tell you all about it.
Be Our Guest for breakfast brings very much the experience you’ve come to expect from lunch at Beast’s Castle with guests placing their orders using a Magic Band or Magic Rose only to then be seated in one of the three dining halls and having their breakfast carted in, in short order. It’s a simple process that must be confusing for some as Disney has placed tedious instructions on the reverse side of the menu. As for the menu it is quite petite but something I believe is for the better. On this occasion we sampled the Assorted Cured Meats with Cheese and the Eggs Florentine. Each adult entrée is $19.99 and includes a choice of beverage. A selection of pastries is also included for each table.
The Assorted Cured meats was rich as you’d expect and the toasted baguette was crunchy and wonderfully wholesome in the center. The Eggs Florentine was the natural star of this breakfast encounter as the puff pastry shell naturally brings a beautiful presentation into the mix. The scrambled eggs with cheese were light and fluffy and the roasted plum tomatoes were a surprising delight as well. It was a difficult challenge to make it through to the selection of included pastries but for the good of Da Mouse fans everywhere, we somehow managed. These throw-ins if you will were well presented and rounded out the meal and no doubt serve to provide “value” to the price of the meal.
Be Our Guest remains our favorite experience in all of New Fantasyland and breakfast just rounds out its strength position by offering simple but grandiose meals that will start your day in the kingdom just right. Now that is something any good candelabra can get behind.
