Disney’s Hollywood Studios Takes Us Back To MGM with Chinese Theatre Spires

Disney’s Hollywood Studios may not have its new name just yet but it does have its old theme park icon back in full form. The full-scale reproduction of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre finally has its spires back.  It now commands a presence over Disney’s Hollywood Studios much like it did during the good ol’ Disney-MGM Studios days, save for one thing of course — Frozen Summer Fun.  Yes that Frozen overlay continues to rob The Chinese Theater the spotlight it deserves in the theme park to be named later. Still that didn’t stop us from grabbing some wonderful shots of the restored park icon so that you too could enjoy the marvelous sight.  With Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon to be in full-on transition mode as Toy Story Land and a Star Wars based land begin their construction it’s good to know that the core foundation of the park is finding its stride.  For now it’s just the Chinese Theatre’s spires reaching for the sky but soon there will be a whole theme park at Walt Disney World hoping to do the same.
