Christmas is a special time and I can’t think of any place I’d rather be than in Walt Disney World. But the magic of Christmas is best when shared and so just like in Part 1 of this series, we invite you to journey into a winter wonderland filled with Christmas trimmings and fanciful delight. It is a magical season and photo series just for you after the break.
This corner of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is always themed to Christmas year round…
…but it can’t help but have a little extra specialness around the holidays.
Mickey & Minnie have the Christmas carolling down packed…
So many wonderful things…
Perry does Christmas!
Now that is a fine looking Christmas store window…
I mean just look at Mickey! Dressed in Pluto PJs of course.
Or how about Dumbo plushes with Candy Canes taking the place of his Magic Feather…
Still not Christmasy enough for ya?
How about good ‘ol Saint Nick?
…and he’s bearing gifts.
I can’t get the muppet movie songs out of my head!
We step into more Disney Christmas merchandise
This wine glass was beautiful if a little pricey…
The Writer’s Stop is an amazing little coffeeshop/bookstore you can’t miss for your morning coffee fix.
Alright and now onto Star Tours!
Nothing like a sleek new Starspeeder 1000 to blast us through space!
I hope Google Translate is part of the Star Wars universe.
C3PO & R2D2 making final flight preparations…
Almost our turn…
From Star Tours onto two….
…other DHS classics.
I love that Disney’s Hollywood Studios has some very neat details that add so much character….
This tow truck at the entrance is just too beautiful to walk on past without taking notice first.
After leaving the Studios’ Extra Magic Hours for MK’s Park Opening we arrive to find that we are Heroes for the day!
It is a busy day in the parks, even this early so we elect for plan B, the Magic Kingdom Ferryboat!
Don’t get me wrong, there is really nothing like taking the MK Ferryboat except well taking the monorail 🙂
But the views you get on the ferryboat are one of a kind!
If you have never taken the ferryboat or haven’t in a long time, I recommend you take it, you’ll treasure the experience.
You might notice the boat honors Walt Disney Imagineer Richard F. Irvine…
Make sure make your way to the front of the boat so you can be the first off but most importantly so you can have the most incredible look at everything surrounding the Seven Seas Lagoon.
As the cool breeze hits our face we can’t help but smile at the sight of the Magic Kingdom getting ever closer.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the DVC addition make for a beautiful sight as well.
Disney Ferryboat making its way back to the TTC.
This shot with the monorail is just spectacular!
What at cool way to enter the Magic Kingdom…
I’ve got to get someone to teach me how to make knots! They are cool and useful…
Consider this your teaser for part 3 😉
