Make sure to click through the images for the High Res Version!
That is one big crane…
One day I’ve got to learn how to drive one of these…
Hopefully Goofy isn’t my teacher…he seems to run into things. Like this beautiful Air Race Flag he seems to have torn!
Still a ways to go and not much time before its scheduled opening…
This area is going to feel so different once the walls come down and don’t hinder the forced perspectives of New Fantasyland.
After having ridden Dumbo about a million times this past year (for New Fantasyland photos of course) I can safely state the obvious. This ride is going to be a ton better now, with probably one exception. I don’t know how I will feel about the view compared to being right in the heart of Fantasyland. Time shall tell on the latter.
The two tone Big Top is really a neat look!
Is that what I think it is? Why yes! Dumbo’s second spinner has been installed and that means it might be ready to fly alongside its twin spinner on March 12th!
If you click through this image for the High Res Version you can see the almost complete new Fantasyland Train Station.
That is the location of the new Cirque du Soleil show. Just kidding of course, just making sure you are awake because we are about to get to the good stuff!
See I wasn’t kidding!
Make sure to click on the images for the Higher Res…so many details here. Blue Tiles around the water feature of Dumbo’s Spinner’s Bowl. You can even see the new Dumbo ride vehicles.
Forgive me for the blurry nature of the shot but I had to include it because it shows off many important details. First the rock work that represents the outermost edge of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster and on the right rear of the shot you can make out more steel structure for what is to be yet more rock work for the Journey of the Little Mermaid Attraction.
The foundation for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster continues to move forward by leaps and bounds.
Belle’s Village really filling out…
Prince Eric’s Castle is going to be quite impressive.
Here is another shot of the extra steel framework we mentioned earlier…
Another grand shot of Beast’s Castle’s rock-work and the Mine Coaster’s Rising Foundation.
You have got to click this image for a great view of Belle’s Village including the start of work on the building in the background that will house restrooms for the area.
It is truly beginning to look like a fantasy forest!
The shape and look of this building is fantastic.
With this picture you can almost begin to imagine what it will be like to walk into the Fantasy Forest area near Enchanted Tales with Belle.
The “stone” work on the planters and bridge coupled with the rock work and trees…it really has the opportunity to be a special place in the Magic Kingdom.
By now you know I’m the Castle Wall’s biggest fan 🙂
But before we get to talking walls, I must show you what is left of the attraction formerly known as Dumbo the Flying Elephant. But not to worry as I hear Casey Jr. is coming down the track!
A closer look…
Again you get a good sense of the scope of the project as the crane lowers another load into Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster zone.
Fantastic overview shot of Storybook Circus set to open on March 12th though we’ll keep you updated on any further information regarding soft openings or delays should they occur.
