Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom continues to progress through its test and adjust period and just yesterday we noticed quite a few changes and enhancements. So click on through the break and see just what finishing touches the imagineers have added to the Magic Kingdom’s latest attraction.
This is a dramatic change! In our previous look at the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom we mentioned how this specific window was hampered with too much glare and the attempted use of a projection onto a plane of glass was just not resulting in a clear image for the guests as the other Sorcerers’ windows produced. Disney Imagineers have clearly realized this and moved to an LCD panel much like in the other installations of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, along with blacking out the side window to further block the sunlight making the experience much more effective.
These light poles are new as well and many of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom locations have seen new lighting additions to improve the ability of the cameras to “read” the spell cards in guest’s hands. While I’m not sure I like the black “poles” or if they will remain black, at first glance I like the ornate nature of the lanterns above them.
