When Via Napoli opened at Epcot’s Italy Pavilion serving simple and delicious Italian food for a relatively reasonable price it was obvious that something would have to be done to rebrand and reposition what was a good but not great restaurant next door, Tutto Italia Ristorante. The latter was a fact clearly not lost upon the owners of both restaurants, The Patina Restaurant Group, as they are executing a plan to renovate Tutto Italia to an all new height of cuisine with a new interior design and new menu. But that is not all. When the restaurant reopens on April 28, 2012 it will feature a new wine bar, “Gusto.” Of course we wouldn’t get you all worked up if we didn’t have pictures, now would we?
Tutto Italia wasn’t bad but you sorta always knew it could be better.
The game-changer here was certainly Via Napoli and the success that it has been.
The whole place has been gutted.
The terrace seating area is now gone, no word on if that area will return though I hope it does.
Gusto Wine Bar, if its anything like La Cava del Tequila then I’m all for it!
I have high hopes for this renovation, how about you?
