7:30 AM: We apologize for the later than expected start but we’ll be live blogging from #Disney 24 shortly. Thanks for your patience.
8:04 We are live from Magic Kingdom for One More Disney Day!
8:11 It’s a very foggy morning in Disney but the Magic Kingdom is as beautiful as ever. The Ferryboat is currently not in operation due to the foggy conditions. I do think the One More Disney Day banner leaves something to be desired…and by something I mean a ton.
8:18 AM – Media here for Disney’s event…
8:30: Well hello there 😉
8:35: Well something has a bit of a line this morning. Can’t keep Disney fans away from their Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.
8:38 AM –
8:54: Partners no matter the weather 🙂
9:04 As expected, the lines to your favorite attractions are quite minimal…now as for Disneyland that is going to be a whole different matter. Good luck to everyone visiting Disneyland today.
Snow White…some things never change even on One More Disney Day. Now New Fantasyland might change this wait time a bit when this is re-imagined as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!
9:45 Times Guide:
9:53 AM: Sun is out and look what we have here!
Prince Eric’s Castle now has its main spire, it looks very impressive as you walk towards it.
10:04 Still there is only one true castle 😉
10:21 AM –
11:25 AM The park filling up gradually now…wait time for “it’s a small world” 20mins. Now back to the One More Disney Day Sweets!
11:53 Got to stop by the Confectionary if you are at the Magic Kingdom!
12:02 PM Disney has a couple of commemorative shirts for sale as well.
12:31 Passholder giveaway Mouse Ears
2:00PM – It’s turned into such a beautiful day at the Magic Kingdom…
2:26 PM Lots of guests enjoying Sorcerers of the MK, us we are just collecting our cards for the day 🙂 Want to trade?
2:51: The pace of work at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad seems to have picked up quite a bit.
2:55: Tons of repairs on the track, the mountain and building facades and rock work.
3:00 PM The track has been painted a beautiful dark brownish color and looks spectacular…this is easily one of our favorite Disney rides at WDW. The queue building looks like it has been almost gutted. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if the rumored next-gen queue makes its appearance at Big Thunder when it reopens.
3:08 A leisurely ride on the Liberty Belle gives us a good look at the new Fantasyland pathway construction that will soon connect Liberty Square and Fantasyland…still just a ton of cleared land.
