This ride has a whole different feel amongst its new surroundings.
What do you think about the new look?
Near the exit of Dumbo the Flying Elephant
It is always time for Dumbo!
Notice the hour hand is Dumbo’s Magic Feather!
This ticket booth doubles as a small closet for cast member use.
Oh yeah there was a line! Just look at that Big Top Tent!
The trees and general landscaping of Storybook Circus adds a dimension of character that was barely present in this area before.
Our first glance of Barnstormer reveals a whole new look…
For a simple re-imagining of an attraction it clearly has taken a whole different feel as well.
It was funny to think that this will become one of the most photographed spots in the Magic Kingdom. Of course that is an exaggeration but Disney did a fantastic job of giving guests an exciting “action” shot and a perfect nestled spot to allow you to snap a photo.
CP or Carolwood Park, the setting for Storybook Circus and also a nod to Walt Disney’s personal miniature railroad the Carolwood Pacific.
When you find those details even on an exit sign it again speaks for itself.
Still work to be done for sure but I spy a Fantasyland Train Station!
This queue is almost not comparable with the previous version and it still doesn’t enter the Circus Big Top Tent where the real “magic” will happen.
A cast member told me they are lovingly referring to Goofy’s new Monkey friend as Ted. I’m sure he has a real name so kindly take this with a dose of NaCl 😉
Sure the Barn was nice but now this ride has a special moment for onlookers that makes you want to ride The Barnstormer.
Can’t get enough Barnstormer? We can’t either 🙂
This subtle change has the effect of giving this area kinetics while still hiding most of the coaster track behind the billboard. Simple but effective.
And it is super neat to kill time by watching this while you wait in line for Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
Wait until you see the pictures we took during our ride on The Barnstormer!
The “tent” is actually a really nice building…it feels substantial.
That poor air race flag never stood a chance with Goofy around.
Do you like the new look?
Stylish tent poles in the Dumbo queue.
The rest of Storybook Circus and New Fantasyland for that matter can’t open fast enough!
This tent should be covered soon…
CP = Carolwood Park …there will be a test at the end 🙂
These posters provide a nod to some of Goofy’s cartoon shorts.
Again even the signs have layers of details. From the way the poster is stretched to the flags atop it all adds up.
One performance only and I think we all know why 😉
Check out the face on that poor rooster hanging on for dear life!
