We are back at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival for yet another look at this amazing annual flower extravaganza. In this update we get an incredible look at the Fantasia inspired Epcot entrance topiaries, travel through Bambi’s Butterfly Garden and visit the minute world of Tinkerbell, in Pixie Hollow.
Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival extends out beyond the entrance gates…
A neat welcome for guests indeed.
This year’s main topiary features the mouse himself…
…in a flowery recreation of his role in the animated classic, “Fantasia.”
It is truly magnificent and as you can imagine a perfect photo-op.
These topiaries are a sight to see from every angle.
The topiaries are surrounded by incredible flowers.
Love the monorail in this shot and we have a few more monorail cameos in this update 🙂
Nice and colorful, the sign and the tagline.
Again notice the abundance of flowers around these topiaries.
A quick break from the flowers.
And then right back to where we left off.
In our previous update, I mentioned that this topiary needed to fill out and sure enough it has.
Monorail Sighting #2
The flower beds have also hit full stride as well.
As beautiful as this photo may be this is one of those things you have to see in person to fully appreciate.
Butterflies anyone?
The Bambi Topiaries make a return to this year’s event.
As do the butterflies 🙂
Epcot reminding you that you can always learn a thing or two.
Before they are all butterfly beautiful…
A nice entrance for a temporary exhibit…
What is better than Epcot? Epcot with a Monorail.
The festival just looks fantastic right now!
Our search for Tinkerbell begins…
This area has a ton of tiny displays meant to denote the smaller world of the fairies that call this area home.
One of the best things about this area for kids, is that they can pick up a worksheet and fill it out at these various Fairy stations.
The fairy topiaries are quite small but no less beautiful.
Well would you look at that…
…another monorail 🙂
There is Tink!
Here is a look at the worksheet as it gets the various names etched onto it.
A rainbow of flowers is such a simple idea but of course Disney executes it beautifully during the festival.
Inside of Pixie Hollow you will find one of the playgrounds set up just for the event.
There are tons of tips throughout the Flower & Garden Festival…
Who know perhaps you can recreate this in your own backyard.
