Fantasyland Walkway Project Continues As Concrete Wall Appears

If you’ve ever strolled past “it’s a small world” you know why Disney is looking to create a new walkway in an attempt to ease the flow of foot traffic in and out of this area of Fantasyland.  Let’s just say at best it is a mess and at worse it is absolute gridlock.  Disney has already taken several measures to try and alleviate the congestion in this heavily trafficked area of the Magic Kingdom including swapping the entrance and exits of “it’s a small world”, moving stroller parking and even stationing cast members in between the area to constantly direct the waves of Disney fans in the appropriate direction.  But soon a new walkway shall emerge from behind construction walls in what should be the biggest improvement to traffic flow this area has seen to date.  For now, the new pathway and rumored Tangled meet and greet, have the look of nothing more than a construction site with dirt and heavy machinery.  But in the past weeks we have seen the first signs of true construction as a large concrete dividing wall is now taking shape behind the construction walls.  We’ll show ya just what we mean right after the break.
