Sure we could have just taken a quick peek at New Fantasyland and called it a day but this is Da Mouse where Disney news and culture is taken to a whole other level. So we are back for Part 2 of this four-part-series with pictures of the second Dumbo spinner installed along with the Flying Dumbo ride vehicles and even a peek at Fantasyland Forest that now has seen the “forest” extended towards Be Our Guest Restaurant! All this and more and we are just getting started! It is a great time to be a Disney fan and you couldn’t have found a better place for all things New Fantasyland then right here on Da Mouse. Enjoy!
Dumbo the Flying Elephant’s second spinner is almost ready to take flight…
Some of the Dumbo ride vehicles are still covered as they await their full install.
The artwork from the Dumbo movie has yet to make it onto the spinner base…
Flying Elephants, Trees and Coaster Steel, oh my!
The Fantasyland Forest has now made its way on towards Be Our Guest Restaurant.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train construction is just a captivating sight.
What I assume are pine trees, have now added another element into the forced perspective and given Beast’s Castle yet another boost in appearance. That whole area is coming together and you’ll get a better sense of that in Part 3 & Part 4 of this series.
It is incredible that just a few weeks ago, large parts of this rock work was just steel wire framing!
The site of Ariel’s Grotto grows more beautiful by the day.
On the top-left of this image you can see what appears to be the beginnings of more rock work near Beast’s Castle and behind Gaston’s Tavern in order to hide the remaining parts of the New Fantasyland building from sight.
From every angle, this rock work is simply amazing.
As you walk through the park you can really get a sense for the vistas that will be present here.
It is difficult to capture how much larger Beast Castle feels already at this point but I think this picture does that end some justice.
What an incredible New Fantasyland panorama that is rising before us.
Casey Jr./Storybook Circus lamps were on during our visit…
This area is certainly going to look interesting at night with all this lighting.
Large Trees have been placed behind the Dumbo the Flying Elephant Queue building and they do a fine job of masking the building.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster peeking in the background of Storybook Circus…
Not a ton of visible progress in this area of the construction but we did learn a few things recently about this area that we will share with you very soon.
