Our last New Fantasyland update took you through an extensive tour from end to end of New Fantasyland. Some of the images we captured were breathtaking while others enlightening about the scale and scope of the New Fantasyland expansion. And although its only been just over a week since our last update, here we are again to present you with a fresh update on some of the finer points of the progress at the construction site. So join us after the break as we begin our journey through New Fantasyland and Storybook Circus…
Side Note: Storybook Circus is not a bad place to catch Wishes if you happen to be in the area and it is not your first viewing.
We saw some of the lamps on in our last New Fantasyland update during the day and now we see even more lit up at night.
Storybook Circus still has a ways to go but at least when the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station opens the area will feel a bit more expansive then it does now with the protruding construction walls.
Alright now turn on the strings of blue lights please 🙂
The scaffolding around Prince Eric’s Castle is slowly coming down revealing a painted and much more beautiful exterior. The door and the steps leading up to it are very neat.
This needs no introduction…
You can really see a ton of progress even since our last update here…
Storybook Circus Tents are beginning to receive their trimmings…
Journey of the Little Mermaid’s Rock Work is well…wow.
After months of work this side of the rock work is almost complete.
It is still hard to believe what Disney is able to do with concrete, steel and paint.
Those with some sightline worries can breathe a little easier now 😉
Can’t wait to be able to see straight through to the Fantasyland Train Station. Also of note, look at how the trees near Dumbo the Flying Elephant are really starting to fill out this area.
Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station awaiting its debut.
Lights being tested day and night it seems…
Well this is new! 🙂 More details about this area of Storybook Circus in Part 2 of this series!
