New Fantasyland Construction Moves Into October As Fantasyland Comes Together – Part 6

Turning a fair into a circus might not be the greatest challenge Walt Disney Imagineering has ever faced but despite Storybook Circus’ diminutive stature as a New Fantasyland mini-land it has accomplished several things that its predecessor never quite could.  We could point to the incredible new Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction that places an enormous draw to the area, with a beautifully enhanced version of the much beloved pachyderm ride.  But the nuance that we see and feel is much greater is the tremendous sense of place that was lacking in the former land but is now a preeminent part of the Storybook Circus experience.  From the moment you see the Storybook Circus banners on approach you know you are about to step into the good-hearted-fun of the circus of yesteryear.  With rich hand-painted wood signs, plenty of ornate lighting fixtures, larger than life big top tents and Disney characters, Storybook Circus is a world you gladly want to surround yourself with and absorb all the sights and sounds.  Join us as we explore that world of high wire acts and amazing acrobatic feats in our latest New Fantasyland update.
