Festival season at Walt Disney World is now in bloom and with the beauty of Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival 2014, we just wouldn’t have it any other way! The Flower and Garden Festival is a special time at Epcot. It transforms an already beautiful theme park into an extravaganza of flowers, nature and the more recent addition, culinary eats. And though we’d recommend waiting at least a week for the flowers and topiaries really to grow in before you visit, yes they eventually look even more amazing, opening day still has a lively sense of fun and fancifulness that can only mean spring has nearly arrived at Epcot.
This year’s event introduces new bites, a whole new Muppets topiary along with incredibly enhanced topiary faces on many of the topiaries that have become staples of the festival. Alongside music, playgrounds for the young ones, gardening demonstrations and more this festival is really beginning to come into its own as a hallmark event and we wouldn’t be surprised if its popularity begins to grow much like that other Epcot festival we know you are counting down till. This is just the first bloom of Da Mouse’s continuing coverage of the 2014 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and we truly can’t wait to share more with you very soon.
Festival Season begins at Epcot and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Welcome to the future. Hint: There are a ton of topiaries.
