‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Cast Confirmed as Filming Begins in Couple of Weeks

Disney’s latest major franchise acquisition, Star Wars is just a couple of weeks away from shooting the all-important relaunch film “Star Wars: Episode VII” and today they have confirmed the cast that will bring the adventure to life.  After tons of rumors and speculation original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker are indeed making a triumphant return.  They will be joined by new stars in the making, actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.  Director J.J. Abrams said in a statement,

We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.

It is quite an undertaking to fulfill the promise of this new film that opens worldwide on December 18, 2015, whilst pleasing the phenomena of Star Wars fandom across the globe.  There is a ton riding on the new slate of Star Wars films including future theme park endeavors but now just shy of the eve of May the Fourth, we get to revel in the renewed dreams of interspace drama.
