By now we know you have felt the force of Disney’s marketing machine as it works to hype Star Wars: The Force Awakens before it hits theaters December 18 and attempts to deliver on the franchise the way it did when it all began with a “A New Hope.” But before we blast of into the desert world of Jakku the hype train must continue this time as part of the iconic Walt Disney World Monorail System.
The new Star Wars film now has gotten its own promotional monorail wrap just in time to get those Magic Kingdom visitors even more riled up for the adventure that awaits them in a galaxy far, far away at a movie theater near you. And though this promotional wrap is more conservative than the far more extensive ones that the Walt Disney Company has employed before it is creating no less buzz as guests see it pulling into station. The desert landscape of Jakku is present with BB-8, the Millennium Falcon and Rey’s Speeder. The hype seemingly can’t be any greater and now it’s just a matter of weeks before we know whether the film can exceed it.
