Many of you will just have to forgive me for including Episodes I, II, and III as part of the now classic collection of Star Wars films alongside the revered Episodes IV, V, and VI but that’s exactly what you’ll find as soon as you make you make your way into the Star Wars Launch Bay proper. From a scale model of Boba Fett’s Slave I ship to the full-sized Rebel and Imperial outfits, Star Wars will surround you. Some of it is impressive, especially the wondrous sight of young Anakin Skywalker’s Podracer from Episode I on loan just for this exhibit alongside an iconic Star Wars Speeder bike. With that said this area, along with most of Star Wars Launch Bay doesn’t have enough to truly warrant repeat visits, once you’ve seen the assemblage of props, concept art and costumes you’ve seen it. Still, it is a wonderful opportunity for longtime Star Wars fans and new Star Wars fans to have the opportunity to really dive into what makes the Star Wars culture so lasting. There were quite a few family members teaching their kids the ways of the force as I made my way around the exhibits, always a heartwarming sight.
