It is time for the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and for Disney+ it launches not a moment too soon. Let’s face it, The Mandalorian was a good and fun show most of us thoroughly enjoyed but there’s not a ton of original content out for Disney+ to satisfy the millions of people Disney aims to have sign up and keep their subscription active on their streaming platform. With Netflix having posted mostly better than expected numbers in the face of the new competition from Disney and Apple, Ahsoka Tano is likely to be the largest profile character this side of “baby Yoda” until Fall brings more original content into the Disney+ mix.
Today you can preview the trailer for the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars that will be available to stream on February 21, 2020 on Disney+. It teases a climactic end to the series by Dave Filoni, Director and Executive Producer of The Mandalorian, that explores the events leading up to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Best of all you’ve got a month to allow for binging the series to catch up or just to refresh your memory before the new season airs. May the force be with you.
